Martha Jane (Hosteter) Cummings of Jenison, Michigan, born December 22, 1933, passed away on August 8, 2012. Martha leaves behind a loving husband of 58 years, Artis Cummings, sons Nolan and Ron Cummings and daughters Jane Meadows and Judy Hernandez, daughters-in-law Elda and Marisela Cummings and sons-in-law Michael Meadows and Isaiah Hernandez. Martha was also blessed with 10 grandchildren: Dathan Cummings, wife Victoria and children Mason and Ian; Joshua Cummings and wife Erika; Eliseo Cummings and wife Erica, Artis Cummings and wife Jessica and son Caleb; Jared Cummings, wife Hannah and daughter Alana; Rachael (Meadows) Stacey, husband Sean and son Conner; Olivia (Meadows) Dais and husband Chad, Jordan Meadows, Isaac Hernandez and Gabriel Hernandez. Martha had a twin sister, Mary Patchen, older sister Ruth Leach (deceased), brothers Edward and Robert Hosteter, and younger sister Verna McCoy. A Memorial Service is planned for family and friends at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012, at Zeeland Church of God, 6441 Byron Road, Zeeland, Michigan 49464. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made in her honor to Spring Vale Academy, 4150 South M-52, Owosso, Michigan 48867.
